Eye Donation Awareness Rally

 

An Eye Donation awareness rally was held at Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala on August 25, 2018 by the Director, Health Services, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Punjab. It was the inauguration of National Eye Donation fortnight in Punjab. The aim of the rally was to motivate students and general public regarding the importance of eye donation. A team of officials from the Civil Surgeon Office accompanied the van displaying banners, posters and slogans relating to eye donation. Willing students were given forms for eye donation. Dr. Shelly Jetley, Asst. Civil Surgeon and Dr. Monika Kharbanda addressed the students exhorting them to come forward and be a part of the drive. A ‘Nukkad Natak’ was also enacted to create awareness for the same. Dr. Baljinder Kaur, Vice Principal of the college thanked the team and assured full support in this noble cause.
